Leading up to the one of the fiercest beauty competitions in the world, 89 global beauties will compete in preliminary rounds of swimsuits and evening gowns. This competition is very important as it will determine which contestants will make the top 15 semi’s (and the 16th from the popular online votes). The Miss Universe organization announced this year’s preliminary judges who ranges from a former Miss USA to model scouts. Below are the judges and their bio’s.
Michael Greenwald is the Vice President of Talent at Buchwald / Fortitude talent agency based in Los Angeles and New York City, a position he has held for 16 years. He has worked in the entertainment industry for 22 years where he began his early career in New York at “Saturday Night Live” and MTV.
Greenwald started in Hollywood at Susan Smith & Associates and then moved on to the Paradigm Talent Agency where he worked with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Adrien Brody, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Scarlett Johansson. In 1996, he joined Don Buchwald & Associates where he helped develop the careers of Hilary Duff, Zach Quinto, Josh Duhamel, Rainn Wilson, Seth Green, Jim Caviezel and supermodel Angie Everhart.
Some of the present clients at Buchwald / Fortitude include Elle MacPherson, Vanessa Williams, Juliette Lewis, Rachel Blanchard, Norman Reedus, Fairuza Balk, Kathleen Turner, Kevin Pollak, Craig Kilborn, Elisabeth Rohm, D.B. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Amy Sadowsky is the Senior Vice President of Public Relations and Celebrity Entertainment for Planet Hollywood International. In this role, she oversees publicity strategies for all the brands owned by Robert Earl, founder of Planet Hollywood International. Additionally, Sadowsky handles all celebrity related events for the company.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Sadowsky is also proud of her role on the Advisory Board for Best Buddies.
Beverly Frank is the Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Operations for 19 Entertainment, Inc., a division of CORE Media Group. Based in Los Angeles, 19 Entertainment is CORE’s production, recording, touring and artist management division, and co-producers of the television series “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance.” Frank joined 19 in 2009 as General Manager and Director of US Legal.
Prior to joining 19 Entertainment, Frank was Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Proskauer Rose. Before that, Frank was a member of the Entertainment, Advertising and Media Practice Group of Manatt Phelps & Phillips. Frank’s practice involved representing clients in the entertainment, media, Internet, retail and financial services industries in complex business and commercial litigation, copyright and entertainment litigation, employment counseling and litigation, civil rights, defamation, antitrust, unfair trade practices and trade secret law and other business contract and tort claims.

Carlos Anaya is the host for “MY Lifestyle Extra” on Fox News Latino. Recently recognized by The New York Times for his work as a producer and as an expert in biculturalism, Anaya is highly regarded for his work as a reporter, multimedia content producer, host and social media influencer.
Anaya is the managing editor for MY Lifestyle Magazine, the first boutique publication for chic bicultural Latinos in New York. Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes is currently on the cover for the beauty issue. Anaya produced “Orgullo Latino,” the first LGBT Latino Leaders show airing on more than 250 stations on PBS this year. He also became part of the Celebrity Vegan Latinos campaign sponsored by PCRM Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Anaya has received prestigious awards for his work including The GLAAD Award for best Spanish Journalism, The Council of The New York City and O.S.C.O Foundation Fusion Award and the Circle of Hearts Humanitarian Award for two consecutive years. He has a degree in Journalism and Television Production from Florida International University in Miami. He lives in New York City and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Corinne Nicolas, President of Trump Models, has over 15 years’ experience in the fashion modeling industry. In 1999, she was one in a core group of model managers selected by Mr. Donald J. Trump to open his world renowned model agency, Trump Models. The agency’s roster includes top models that are featured in magazines and campaigns around the world, as well as on the international runways. The Trump Legends division represents such icons as Tatjana Patitz, Jerry Hall, Daniela Pestova and Carol Alt.

A native New Yorker, Nicolas thrives on living in NYC and enjoys spending her free time

Crystle Stewart is not just a pretty face but a woman who prides herself on setting goals and achieving them. Her most recent aspiration has been to become an actress She met her goal and now stars in the new Tyler Perry sitcom “For Better or Worse” on TBS. The University of Houston graduate is a fourth generation educator and teacher. She is also the founder of her own company, Inside/Out, which she uses as a platform for public speaking appearances and character development lessons.
